News from Italia 2026, 2 August 2026

Italia 2026, the International Philatelic Literature Exhibition, continues to lead the way in digital innovation with a new approach to the catalogue of the entries… and not only!

Italia 2026, the philatelic literature exhibition to be held in Rome from 15 to 18 October 2026, was conceived with a strong focus on digital innovation. Thus:

Exhibitors can submit applications via an online form, avoiding the burden of downloading and re-uploading documents;
Participants can pay the € 50 fee online using PayPal to italia2026@filatelia.info;
The section dedicated to digital media is very extensive, covering not only websites but also Instagram pages, Wikipedia pages, YouTube channels, podcasts and more;
The jury has been working online for some time now, including by consulting PDFs of the books (which, of course, are kept confidential and not disclosed). This approach allows for a much more thorough and carefully considered judging.
Now, we can announce another very important innovation.
The catalogue of the exhibition entries is very innovative – for the first time in the history of philatelic exhibitions.
All entries are added to the website’s catalogue as soon as they are received.
Go to the menu ‘Exhibit’ and then select a class.
For each entry, there is an image of the hard-copy cover or, for digital entries, of the homepage. Clicking on the title takes you to the details page: all the technical specifications, the prices and where to order the entry are listed.
In this way, participants can effectively promote their work, and users can access a range of useful information about those entries that interest them most.
Following up on the online registration form, Italia 2026 continues to lead the way in digital innovation!
