Short Description: This book compiles all the postcard drawings by Jihel on the theme of Catherine Ribeiro, a politically engaged singer of the 1970s. Nicknamed “La Rouge” (The Red One), she is a central figure in Jihel’s artistic universe, reflecting their shared rebellious spirit. They met when Catherine Ribeiro and her band Alpes embodied the spirit of a movement that intimately blended new communal, anarchist, and libertarian lifestyles with experimental artistic forms in both drawing and music.
