Short Description: The Francomarke issues are discussed in terms of their development history from design to printing, their possible uses including the corresponding rates, as well as the types of cancellations with the postmarks. Stamps and postmarks, including the use of the latter on stamps of the NDP and the German Reich, are evaluated in detail over 100 pages based on many years of market observation. New findings emerged primarily regarding the technical methods of stamp production. As a result, revisions to the previous classification of some stamp issues have become necessary. The dates of postmark usage are given on the basis of the author’s registry.
